Hello! I am Robin and I purchased Colorado Wedding Draping from Sarah and Eric in June of 2018. I was looking for something to do other than my day job of 9-5 and my mentor came to me with Sarah’s ad she had. Sarah & Eric’s dream was to move to Crested Butte. So I put together my proposal for purchasing CWD and was honored to have been selected to purchase the business. I spent all of 2018 training and doing weddings all summer with Sarah and have learned so much. As she said, It’s so wonderful to work with the brides, grooms and families, and vendors. I am honored and have enjoyed it so much. I am now in my 5th year. I hope to grow the business and continue to expand our partnerships and relationships. If I have learned anything from 2020, it’s to enjoy the small things in life, feed your imagination, build better relationships and show love, respect, kindness in all areas of your life. And introducing my new partner in crime that will be starting to travel with me and keep me company…Meet Clementine! She is a 1 1/2-year-old Doberman who I have had the great honor of adopting 1/2/22! She loves all people and dogs and I am so excited to share my journey with her! the beginning

Colorado Wedding Draping was started by my husband, Eric, and me in 2016. It began as a creative outlet from our corporate day jobs. In the summer of 2017, we worked the usual 9 - 5, ran home to design wedding venues at night, and worked weddings on the weekends.

And... We loved every minute of it!

Eric and I fell in love with the wonderful brides, grooms, families, and vendors we had the opportunity to work with on a daily basis, and decided to turn our “side hustle” into a dream job. 

When we’re not hanging fabric 20 feet in the air on scaffolding, you can find us playing in the mountains with our two dogs, Blue and Reese.

We are a design, draping, lighting and décor business based in Denver, Colorado. We work with you throughout the wedding process to design your wedding as you've visioned. Our mission is to treat every client with the respect, talent and professionalism they deserve while planning their big day.

going green

We are changing the event draping industry. Did you know that many event production companies throw away hundreds of yards of fabric after every wedding? At Colorado Wedding Draping, we purchase quality fabric the first time, and work with local cleaners to clean, fire-proof and press our fabric after every use.  We believe that adding less waste to our landfills is the responsible thing to do.
